Let me name the biggest ones...

UKRAÏNE (9 from your list): In the 9th-13th century in parts from Russia, Ukrain and Belarus: Scandinavic exiles did create the Kingdom of Kiev. After the invasion from the Mongols in1260, the Eastern Slavic as a single united people did fell apart: Russians in the North-East; Belarus in the North-West; Ukrains in the South. Present days there is a historic battle going about the question who are the actual heirs from the Glorious Kingdom of Kiev. Is was one of the 15 subnational soviet-repiblics from the USSR. Sub-national in theory merely.The EU (1 from your list) isn't a federal nation at all. Maybe it wil once be - this days the European Union is a partnership between 28 (soon 27 :( ) national and sovereign country's - each with their own law's - except on items where all country's can reach agreements about. The USA is composite by States, neverexisted as nations (correct me if I am wrong); the EU is a composition of nations with a souvereign country's with national history's going back up from 200 to more than 1500 years.
About the UK (7 on your list): If Scotland wil leave the UK, Scotland is leaving the UK, not breaking it apart. The UK wil still exist, just without Scotland. Just wondering what about their flag - because Scotland's flag is part of the UK-flag...
About Spain (6 on your list): If Catalonia wil ever seperate from Spain, Spain still exist.
About North Korea: You are not realistic. The Kim-dynasty is almighty so they will never be defeated without Western involvement. This will result into a totall War between Nato and partners and China, eventually Russia.The ordinairy peaple are to weak, to brainwash and tomuch adoring them like gods. Annexion from China is not an option. USA and Nato will not tolerate People Republic of Chinaon the border from South Korea. They will never accept the lost of influence. The geo-political interests are a google (is a one with hundred zero's) times more valueble to both sides to risk this all for North Korea.

I believe this will the most issue's solve :P.
