2012 BMW X5 xDrive30d Fuel Consumption Test
Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
Visit my blog: http://guitigefilmpjes.blogspot.com Doing a fuel consumption test in a BMW X5 xDrive30d (MY 2012 / E70). Aim of this test is not to give an exact specification of the fuel consumption of this car, but to show an approximation of the fuel consumption under real life circumstances. As the result also depends on tyres, size of the rims, road condition, weather and equipment that may alter the exact weight of the car, your personal experience may differ from mine.

-
10/100 @ 130km/h
too big consumption.. there must be something wrong with the car.. -
I like BMW's however the Orange dials are getting bit Out of date
-
No it is not, the BMW X5 is much heavier, has a bigger drag coefficient and has the 4-wheel xDrive system.

I don't have it on the agenda yet, but there is quite a good possibity that I will get this car in the future. Until then I have made a test with a 335i xDrive F30 and 318d Touring F31, hopefully that also helps.

Thanks for the video. Will you do a test on f30 320d?
-
ok. thanks

You also switch to Sony Xperia same brand as me assuming your model is Z , the best phone ever As for this video , high speed fuel save ,wish my dad's Cadillac could do that lol

M50d please

I have some ready and will post them when the series on the X5 is finished.

I will try to see what I can do, but usually I can only get the somewhat newer vehicles. Thanks for your tip though, I appreciate it!

Just a tip, try to test cars that have bigger mileage, because most of cars you are testing have under 20 000km, that means the consuption is not seated up as it should be, because the engine is not in top condition and it gains it over time, that means the consuption will change after couple of kilometers ;)

3000 rpm 200kmh......dieseeeeeeeeeeeel power

Great video.....but when are u "making a co drivers view "video?
-
The Efficient Dynamics changes and 8-speed gearbox have helped a lot, the pre-Facelift X5 3.0d used between 1 and 2 liters / 100km more.

That's not bad at all, i was expecting much worse fuel consumption for this 4729 lbs/2145 kg car with its xDrive and huge drag area
