Grandpa you should slap yourself really hard and never speak publicly again about things you have no clue about.

Hi Phili, Tks. A global collapse (read Recession) is GLOBAL. Full Stop. Every stock market and economy will be affected, including the "best" like Australia and China. Jerome

@starcorpvncj Hi, thanks for input. I agree re deflationary, which makes me wonder why central banks like ours is obsessed with inflationary policy especially based on "underlying inflation". Still, CB's plus most others in authority didn't predict the 2008-09 crash etc so why place any faith on their opinions. I don't. Finally, what worries me the most is what we, the public, are not being told or more precisely what is being kept from us...and I fear a great deal of underlying horrors..

Hi J. I'm an Oz in Vietnam. Yes I agree with all this and have written a lot about this since my visit to NYC in May 2008. It will be a deflationary recession of the worst kind, as in the Gt Depression, not an inflationary one as so many wrongly think. The USD is the world currency and unemployment is high so they can still print more USD yet witout ill effect just to prolong the agony. Asset prices will fall a lot. Already R/E prices are fallgn globally. More unemployment! Bad news is coming!
