Trying to determine the value of a country is a difficult task and this figure is a way in which countries attempt to asses the current state of the economy as well as future projections. This is an excellent opportunity to lie about the truth. This is the order of operations: When an economy is suffering, make quarterly projections of GDP quite high. Next, as the weeks move on, slowly revise those expectations lower until the official numbers have to come out. Hide most of the important indicators in order to allow the figure to seem higher. Use accomplices in the mainstream media to project propaganda about the economy. Economies around the world are suffering and the GDP statistic is not an accurate display of the truth. The old GDP calculation included also cost of environmental clean up. This cost was deleted to try and keep GDP growing. Can ow see why the many industrial parkways in a horrible state.

Topic One: Insanity - Many of the governments are engaged in this astronomical deficit spending and no one is asking the question exactly who are the people that all these governments owe money to.
Topic Two: Insanity as Well - Housing prices up; wages down. Most people I know have just too much of a proclivity to buy what they can afford (qualify for) instead of buying what they need. I know this isn't the root cause, but this is one area where consumers can impact the market if they so choose.

on my block, there are only 3 people working and in the black areas, 1 in 20 homes has someone working. thats not improving, its a dying economy. i might add that wellfare of the people in the constitution didnt mean welfare checks and foodstamps, it meant a vibrant economy that people who wanted to work could work and could easily make a living wage from 1 job.
