[512] India as shelter in EM, Europe’s privacy as tech weapon
Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
The global oil rout is causing a worrisome drop in US inflation and Germany’s largest economy grew by 1.7% in 2015. Ameera David weighs in. Then, RT correspondent Manila Chan gives us a look at what’s in store for the future of cars from this year’s auto show. Afterwards, Bianca Facchinei takes a look at China’s questionable GDP numbers. Then, Ameera and RT correspondent Lindsay France discuss a US senator’s skepticism over EU antitrust laws. After the break, Edward Harrison sits down with Gary Shapiro – CEO of the Consumer Technology Association – to talk about how US tech companies collaborate with other countries that have strict privacy laws. And in The Big Deal, Ameera and Edward talk about the latest out of Moody’s. Take a look! Did he really just try to make us believe that the NSA only record numbers. THey listened to our top politicians.
Not a single person in Europe believes him. -
Finally EU is willing to give a big FU to NSA/CGHQ and do something real on privacy, unlike the sold-out Americans.
Let's see them making it happen and US senators keep crying :-) -

it baffles me why anyone thinks that constant growth is a good thing.
the bigger you are, the harder you fall...watch her fall now. -
Peter Drucker notwithstanding, while China may have too much discipline, and prove its undoing, India has none, and I can't see prowess in badminton and mathematics making up for it. Free-trader tho he may be, Shapiro is obviously an ideologue like John McCain. (As well as a rather smug one.) Europeans have always been far ahead of the US in innovation, especially in the adoption of technology, and not at all happy with the folks in Brussels.

See you tomorrow Boom Bust!

I think the Fed raised the interest rate so that it can decrease it again when we have a recession in the US during 2016....
