Yes 1984 is very significant but not just because of a novel. What is the occult reason? It has to do with Astrology. All of these people were born with excellent archetypal configurations and natal aspects for fame an influence within their generation. With very crowded stelliums in their 1st, 11th or 10th houses they are chosen for their archetypal magnetism and are considered perfect to influence large groups of people, the key is to have all the generational planets in very close conjunctions, this is particularly true for the year 1984. Usually born in the fall, so that even personal luminaries are included but certainly not a requirement, however the sun and the moon MUST aspect the larger stellium even if it's trough an opposition, a sextile, a trine, a square or even minor aspects.
