So if people are attempting to convert Euros to dollars so they can shop in the US, doesn't that mean they're demanding more Euros? That seems like a shift in demand not supply.
And then just to make sure I understood this right: so because the dollar is weak, people demand more of it which makes it's appreciate? -

Thank you for actually being a good teacher and explaining things. My teacher just gave us a packet of these questions without a lecture first and expected us to know how to do it. Okay.

The teacher highly recommends McConnell and Brue's _Economics_, whatever is the current edition. Unfortunately, the school district she works for bought Mankiw's _Principles of Economics_ which is very generally full of crap.

Seriously, thanks for the videos. I'm taking this class online, and so it really helps to have the benefit of an actual lecture on the subject instead of the difficulties arising from occasional calls with my teacher, or just reading the material.
