Did you use infinite ammo? How did you do that?

Awesome videos to watch when you don't have ArmA 3 and a fast PC (will try to get one soon haha)... I used to play ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead and DayZ, and my favorite thing is the aircraft. Most fun to fly, and I am surely a professional at it :d

Ghosthawk is a fictional helicopter based on the UH-60 and mixed with old school stealth programs like the F-117 and the RAH-66 Comanche. This early stealth shape is actually an aerodynamic hell. The way flares works is by creating a high heat signature next to the engines in order to confuse the missile. The purpose of counter-rotating blades is, yes, it allows you to carry some extra weight but also it eliminates the need for a small tail rotor and it reduces the risk of stalling the rotor at high speeds.
-
Hey dude what did you use to just spawn a vehicle in the editor without having to exit every time please ?
-
xDubby, you are right about that, its just that the designation (name)
given to it is fictional, and to the uploader of this video, the Mill Mi-48 has Coaxial rotors for two reasons, one to eliminate the need of the tail rotor and two, coaxial rotors are ment for sheer power and lifting capabillities, as well as extra maneuverability. -
great video1!

Good news everyone Rotolib-physics are coming :D
-
to the ghosthawk i'm not quie sure but i think it's The one which was involved in the mission of killing binladen and the design it is stealth design so it invisible on enemy radar but as i said i'm not quite sure
-
Holy shit you sound exactly like Benedict Cumberbatch! Good video though
-
the ghosthawk is probably a stealth blackhawk, ad the shape of the wheelcoverplate reflects radar waves

Actually, The Ka-48 [and vehicles of the same manufactuerer, such as the ka-52 blackshark and ka-50 alligator], feature the unique twin top rotors because it makes the helicopter more manuverable and faster. Notice how there's no tail rotor on the Ka-48. This is because of the second top rotor, which spins in the opposite direction of the one below it to counteract the rotation in the same way a tail rotor does.
Also with the RAH-88 Comanche, it was designed to be a very stealthy helicopter used to spot and assist the AH-64D Apache as well as eliminate targets on it's own with the folding wings [though they didn't model the fold-in wings. for it.]. Transport helo escort was also a possible use since they are using the CH-53E Super Stallion transport helicopter without it's side gunners [the marines use it and it does have side mounted .50 HMGs. The real version can also mount a .50 caliber BMG on the rear door, but it didn't look like the cargo door opens in the game. -
lesson from my experience unproted tail rotor equals vulnribitlaty to titan launchers
-
I hate the sound they use for the miniguns in arma it sounds so weak and pefetic
-
How can you spawn vehicles when playing??
-
Im surprised why you don't know this. have you ever heard of the Blackshark? it has two tandem rotors that spin in two different directions. other examples of tandem rotors are the ch-47 Chinook and v-22 osprey. it elimates the need for a tail rotor by using antitorque. if you have a normal helicopter with a tail rotor that doesn't work, than chances are that you will start spinning. samarezii1 is right.

And the 3rd helo you showed has missiles they Are behind the front wheel carriage I know because I was playing arma 3 and pressed F and the missiles folded out. It is like the helicopters in the hulk
-
@CODfreak153 that is not a chin hook it is a sea stallion and is more like the pave low than the chin hook

The Heli that you popped in-front at 22:25 is the Commanche:
Is the reason why ALL modern helicopters have become so advanced over the last 25 odd years... The LHX project was a huge technical boost for the modern helicopter...
The Commanche is still the ONLY helicopter the can fly at 80 knots backwards and almost 90 knots sideways in yaw... It was mainly built for recon, so fly in low scout ahead and spot targets for tanks etc. It has very low radar cross-section, so it appears as a golf ball size object on radar.
It was NOT meant to be like an Apache of Hind Gunship.. it was built to be fast and silent....
You can not see the heat - because the exhaust heat is actually pumped down the tail and out where the tail rotor.
It is a VERY impressive helo!! :) -
how do i get a a map where i can load these and look at them like this?
