As an Elder Scrolls Fan, I sort of see it like Westeros is Tamriel, and Essos and the other places are Akavir and the other continents.

HBO might not be able to fully explore the whole world of this universe but a gaming platform can do so much more easily. It would be great to travel the entirety of this universe in that game.

How much more epic would ASOIAF be if there were main characters in these other lands that are hardly ever even mentioned. this is why Steven Eriksens MBOTF series is superior: he utilizes ALL of his continents and uses characters from all over his world which truly helps the sheer scale of the story
