i don't think Bex should be charging transaction fees when other people's machines are running their software for them. (and 1-2% transaction fee is even worse than gox). i don't think i'm the only one thinking that running an exchange on my machine, to pay them sounds very unattractive. as far as i can tell it's not even open source.

People initially accused these companies that if the units were any good they would be using them instead of selling them. Now it looks like LOL they used them to test the units before shipping.

Argh.... well, Swapster.com is going to try and change this issue of easily getting Bitcoin. Simple person to person payment via Dwolla. A few weeks away from launch... and I hope to talk with Plan B when ready.

Though Coinbase takes a full week to get my money through, at least they are dependable. Right now they are my only way of getting bitcoin. Bitinstant is in shambles, Mt Gox has me 200 in line for confirmation, BtcQuick has me in limbo with confirmation, BTC-E doesn't have any means to transfer USD for Americans. etc. etc. IMHO, if bitcoin hasn't gone up in value lately it's because NO ONE CAN BUY ANY!

Yep, Coinbase rocks!! Much better to support a San Francisco based company than one in Tokyo, Japan.
