This is Propaganda, if there was nothing to worry about then why is it imposible to read the agreement? Lying government, corrupt politics, bought politicians.
-
Go on, Europe! Accept the TTIP! Your US friends know better! They are strong and they will protect you from us aka EVIL RUSSKIES and EVIL CHINKS!
-
This seems like a terrible idea.
-
no, forget it

I just came here to laugh at the comments.

What?! Even more fossil fuels and sewer put into the oceans by even more people on ocean freighters full of even more Stuff that we don't even need?
-
What's the real benefit of "More Things" and "More Shopping Choices"?
We already have more than enough Stuff! And most of it goes into Growing Landfills or is burnt to damage the atmosphere! - What's the Great Big Deal about "More Growth" anyway!? If it means "More OverGrowth" I'm not for this at all. I am already looking around, and I miss The Forests!! The Rivers!! The Lakes!! They are being BullDozed over by "More Growth"! -
How can the Commission make a video like this if the democratic process isn't finished? Propaganda!
-
Only lies, thats fine :)
-
How can we learn more about TTIP and have our say if the EC don't release the bloody agreement!?
-
What an oversold pack of unsubstantiated lies from start to finish packaged to look like a television advertisement. No mention of what regulatory harmonisation means for the future prospects of democracy or accountability.

US: Hey there, listen this sustainability and business ethic is really pissing us off, pass TTIP or.....
EU (with a gun to their head): We're listening, we do get it!
Stand strong people, dont let them buy our rights, our culture and our world. They has made mistakes that are still hurting my families pockets today, you can empty my pockets, but not my liberty and sovereignty. -
If this wont happen then I think this deal will have some chance of getting support

This is as easy as forcing the TTIP to be approved in referendum in every member state of the EU. If you don't want to ask us our opinion about it, it's obviously bad for us.
-
This is a joke right?
-
If you took us seriously, you would not present us as hysterical and irrational.
And you would execute the will of the people rather than the will of the corporations
and you would answer our questions without resorting.
Why do you say that now you are handling everything transparent, although you still grant MEPs only to inspect TTIP documents in a "Inspection room" with no note possibilities and with a maximum of 2 people, and although you still don't publish at least the "table documents", although both negotiating parties and industry lobbyists know the "table documents", but only the public does not?
Why do you say that TTIP economically will be totally good for us, although several well-founded evidence suggesting that TTIP is economically bad for us, namely, 1. NAFTA, where South American countries were also promised blossoming landscapes before completion, but after NAFTA was accepted and enforced massive unemployment and prosperity have fallen in the South American countries, 2. even your house-own TTIP study says that TTIP will only cause 0.048% economic growth in the EU per year - http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_MEMO-13-211_en.htm - and 3. according to a study by the Global Development and Environment Institute, Tufts University - http://ase.tufts.edu/gdae/policy_research/TTIP_simulations.html - TTIP will cost 583,000 jobs in Europe, and 134,000 of them alone lost in Germany?
Why TTIP and CETA have 3 mechanisms "investor protection" - right for large corporations to sue states for loss of profits through social legislation, held by a private court with conflict of interest and without possibility of appeal - "Regulatory Cooperation" - Pre-Law-screening by a working group of industry lobbyists to determine whether bill drafts are business friendly enough, even before Parliament sees bill drafts - and "standstill clause" - an increase of social standards is excluded; so only a stop or reduction of social standards is practically possible - whichleveres out our democracy, undermines our fundamental rights and in the midterm inevitably lead to a lowering of our social standards?
Why you - who have to represent noone else but the people - don't reject the negotiations for the Free Trade Agreement TTIP, CETA and TiSA and other free trade agreements, considering that within only 4 months 1.4 million EU citizens signed the self-organized European citizens' initiative against TTIP and CETA - https://stop-ttip.org/ - and considering the EU consulation to TTIP - http://trade.ec.europa.eu/consultations/index.cfm?consul_id=179 - where 150,000 players have participated and 97% were against TTIP and ISDS? -
How about getting less economically involved with the US? It's not like they started this economical crisis or anything.
Oh wait... -
'The TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) will be an Absolute Disaster for the People of the EU (European Union) and the People of America (USA) in the long-term - We simply have to Vote AGAINST this behind closed doors Transatlantic Trade deal before it is signed up and too late for the People to do anything about it' - http://worldinnovationfoundation.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/the-ttip-transatlantic-trade-and.html

Nice try, but informed people will not buy into your propaganda and manipulation attempts of public opinion. Economic growth? Please, I saw the TV interview of the EU commissioner in charge of TTIP negotiations, making all sorts of claims about fabulous growth, and when confronted with the real figures, he first said they were wrong, then started verifying the numbers on camera, and when he realized the ridiculously low growth figures were correct, he got angry and argued that it didn't matter, because TTIP is good, period. Wow, impressive. So please, dear politicians, understand that we the people, we will not give up our rights or environment and consumer protection so that you guys can get a fat paid executive board job after your political career is over. We will not cave in to corporate pressure. We're on to your shenanigans, both in the EU and in the US, and the people will not take your BS much longer.

Don't allow Europe's standards to fall down to those of the U.S. We have a lot of problems here and chances are they will only spread to European society if the people of Europe don't do something to safeguard themselves and their institutions. American corporations are ruthless...they've milked us and our government for all we have and they'll do the same to Europeans if you aren't careful.
Love, the American people.
