Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke returned to Capitol Hill for a second day of testimony fielding questions on the state of the US' economic recovery. In his address to the House Financial Services Committee, Bernanke stated that the US economic recovery is being slowed by the European debt crisis and current US fiscal policies.
