Brexit & The 4th Of July

How the recent decision of the British People to leave the European Union or Brexit, is similar in importance to the 4th of July for Americans, to reject rule by a small elite in favor of The People governing themselves. In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a British viewer who asks my opinion on the Brexit decision by the British People to leave the European Union. He shares how there are a lot of nervous people in the United Kingdom, and that he is one of them after they collectively voted to leave. He wonders if the British People have screwed themselves, or if they have regained their freedom and right to self-determination as a nation. I discuss how important and essential this issue is to the freedom of all of us as individuals, and our God-given right of liberty, self-determination, self-reliance and to live our lives in our own way unmolested by tyrants, busybodies & control freaks in government. I also discuss my previous articles “What Is Money Really?” and “How The Economy Really Works” and how understanding money and the economy can give The British People, peace of mind that the sky won’t fall now that they have voted to leave the European Union. “Freedom is the destiny and birthright of all of mankind. Unfortunately, the world is full of people who think they have the right and privilege to tell the rest of us how to live, what to eat, what kinds of relationships we should have, how, where & what we should do for a living, how much of our own money we get to keep and what we can and can’t do with our time. The God-given freedom of the individual must be defended & protected for all of humanity from control freaks, tyrants & busybodies who can only validate their own existence by their ability to control & decide the fates of others. Like it or not, your ability to remain free and self-reliant is your duty and responsibility to defend & protect from those who would take it from you by force of arms or force of law.” ~ Coach Corey Wayne Click the link below to make a donation via PayPal to support my work: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=LKGTSSLYJ93J6 Click the link below to book phone/Skype or email coaching with me personally: http://www.understandingrelationships.com/products Click the link below to get my Kindle eBook: http://amzn.to/1Uh5djJ Click the link below to read my FREE self-help articles: http://www.understandingrelationships.com/ From my heart to yours, Corey Wayne

Similar to your camera example, Toyota trucks were imported sans bed to avoid being taxed as a 'truck'. The beds were shipped separately and installed in the States. There was some other little truck type vehicle that shipped with seats installed in the bed to avoid some other regulation. I didn't realize at the time, and I don't think many people did, but it was fully expected people would remove the seats and throw them away.

As a leave voter from the UK, I have to say you have this spot on! Keep up the hard work
-
I like this guy.

I'd say we could abolish government completely but I don't really think people are ready for that but we could in theory if people were co-operative and duty bound the problem is there's always always someone that takes advantage of a situation then you have to create laws that effect everyone and the dream goes up in smoke

The US should expel the U.N. they're always meddling with our laws

politics is a circus three ringed

I've heard that about 70% of Americans can not identify UK on the map.

Corey you are spot on here. Families like the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, are simply convening to usher in a state of worldwide chaos, which will bring in the following New World Order, out of the chaos and financial panic they created. People don't seem to give a fuck unfortunately....

New world order is here

Please read freedom by adam kokesh. i really think you would like it

Freedom is essential in life

another great video. who do you think should we choose to vote for?
-
Not only is Brexit racist it's just ignorant on their part to leave. Europe doesn't need them and the others want to leave England and join the EU. That should tell you enough.
-
Without counting EU regulations its 13% of laws not 70. It depends on your subjective interpretation however. It is widely accepted there is no totally accurate, rational or useful way to make the calculation.

Interesting to follow this will end - it seems like the Brexit is a horrible idea and eventually will be taken back. Things are not so black and white as you put in your video Corey.
What about the freedom of Scotland and N-Ireland -any ideas on that? Both want to be in the EU.
Just saying things are not as simple as you are putting it here -
Hey Corey, first of all I really appreciate your dating advice, I read your book and watched many of your advice videos. Compared to other stuff on the web it is soo much more applicable and effective.
Seconddly, I must disagree with you. I'll do so in a reasonable manner and I would really enjoy a propper discussion with anyone who keeps it rational as well.
I am from central Europe and I can absolutely not understand why you are sounding off against the EU so much? You depict it as a tyranny, at some point in the video you muble sth. about "not even elected". Who exactly do you mean? The European Parliament is a directly elected democracy. Other EU organs are mostly compsed of representatives from the national governements, and therefore elected in their respective nation. So those "buerocrats" are who we chose to make our supernational laws. There is no one trying to undermine anyones freedom, but the problem is that finding the best solution for everyone, or at least the majority, is a hard process that can leave the interest of individuals behind. This is however not a problem of the EU but of large governements in general. (E.g federal weapon law or other recent issues in America? Individual interests left behind)
After watching the video I'd assume you would agree the guiding theme of a governement should be to secure freedom and security for as many people as possible. One of the biggest reasons of the British to vote for the brexit was the immigration crisis and the fact that they can not shut off their borders while in the EU. But is that the right thing? What should a governement that wants everyone to be free do? Lock everyone out? Especially people that are taking refuge from war? Clearly not, that is not how people can be treated in a just state. So I don't see a restriction of freedom here...
That brings me to another point. You keep expressing a typical American fear, that is a fear of larger powers in the world. Because, if the EU becomes more influencial, or even a military force, that might be scary to you but t.b.h. it is a good thing for us.
"if they got everybody toghether, [...] in a common country, that it would end all theese destructive wars" sooo what's so bad about that? Becoming one country doesn't mean giving up everything that is in your country, all your culture etc. Just like every American state has its own culture and so on. And why would it be those "unelected buerocrats" deciding over your head? Of coure this would be an elected gouvernement?!?
I too, live in a free, soverign country. "I live in the state of Florida, which is like its own country" well I live in Germany which IS its own country. Power is distributed in the EU just like in the US. I am not very familiar with the legislative of the US, so maby s.o. can point out to me where the difference is, because the way I see it I'd say: federal law = EU law; state law = EU national law; regional law = state/land law. Each having their certain ressorts. Generally, in the EU as well as in the US, federal(/EU) law is superior to state(/national) law which in turn is superior to regional(land) law. Germany is by itself subdivided into 16 states, each with their own governements. Then there are counties and, even smaller, communities, all with their own administration. Power distribution with the smallest unit beeing right around the corner of my house!
"[...]cause future generations to be more loyal to the individual governement and not so much your family." Only if you are truly loyal to yourself and neither to a governement nor a god you can be free.
But now, let's get to the interesting part: "[...] all it does is concentrate more and more power in a ever-shrinking small group of intellectual elite who are going to make all the decisions for the rest of us". I don't think you are promoting anarchy so I'd assume we'll always have leaders. If so, I'd rather pick the intellectual elite than the dumb ones. "And that simply has never worked in all of human history" - because you are assuming a totalistic regime again, democracy however, seems to work pretty good. But back to the previous quote. Let's look at this one from a global perspective and not as citizens of a first world country. Concentrating power and wealth in a shrinking group of poeple is ecactly where we are going. And it is us, the first world, where all the money and power is located. A governement that represents ALL people, including second and, most important, third world citizens could actually be fair and just for everyone and not just be establishing YOUR rights and freedom! This is the point where I really get a little outraged because you americans (sorry for putting you all in a box here) complain about power and wealth being taken from you, but don't seem to understand that that must be done in order to share it with others, since in fact you/we have most of it. And boy do we have much of it compared to the world.....!
"The british were smart, or at least some of their leaders were smart" so rather have smart leaders make smart decisions or let the uninformed broad mass vote on important matters?
"The EU is the tyrannical brainchild of busy body control freak trust fund babies" - and yet our directly elected supernational governement.
"to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world if you will." yes, a one world governement, so again, where is the problem with that? Why don't you think that could be a chance for a better world?
On Margaret Thatcher: "During her premiership Thatcher had the second-lowest average approval rating (...), of any post-war Prime Minister."(Wikipedia)
"[...]Thatcher always insisted that she did not care about her poll ratings[...]"(wikipedia)
That's very democratic of course... "deriving their power from the CONSENT of the governed" so much for that...
Why in the world would you say the EU is a tyranny?? Would you call your house of representatives a tyranny just because they are a small group of people?
Sorry but at the point in the video where you start saying "fuck you" I start loosing it -.-
OK so for starters: Legislative of the EU:
1. coulcil of the EU: composed of 28 national ministers as representatives for national governements ==>ELECTED!
2. European Parliament: directly ELECTED by every european citizen eligible to vote
