China’s new Five-Year Plan: China’s economic transition brings the global economy a new impetus

The National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (NPC & CPPCC) were held March 3-16. The 13th Five-Year Plan was approved at the closing of the NPC. China’s development blueprint for the next five years was thus laid out. The international society has voiced its comment about the plan. China has been very important for global economic growth in the past 20 years, which has grown from having about 2% of global GDP of having 17% of global GDP.
