Chinese President Xi Jinping held a welcoming ceremony for leaders of G20 members, international organizations and guest countries ahead of the opening ceremony of Group of Twenty (G20) Summit on Sunday in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province. The leaders from G20 members are Argentine President Mauricio Macri, Brazilian President Michel Temer, French President Francois Hollande, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, South Korean President Park Geun-hye, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, Russian President Vladimir Putin, South African President Jacob Zuma, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, U.S. President Barack Obama, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, British Prime Minister Theresa May, European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Saudi Arabia's Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The seven leaders of international organizations include UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde, World Trade Organization Director General Roberto Azevedo, International Labor Organization Director General Guy Ryder, Financial Stability Board Chairman Mark Carney, and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Secretary-General Angel Gurria. The eight leaders of the guest countries attending this year's Hangzhou Summit are Chad's President Idriss Deby Itno, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Laotian President Bounnhang Vorachit, Senegalese President Macky Sall, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha. After shaking hands with all those leaders, Xi also took a group photo with all the 35 leaders. During the two-day G20 Summit, which is scheduled to open on Sunday afternoon, the leaders will discuss an array of global issues. This year's G20 Summit features a theme of "Toward an innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive World Economy." G20 is the most representative grouping of the world's major economies.
