Crisis in the world economy. Real wealth is coming from healthy ecosystems
Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
It seems like there are two conversations going on. One in the developed world which is talking about economics and technical solutions, and another one in the developing world which is talking about survival and sustainability. But our problems are interrelated. They're the logical outcome of the type of economic system we've created. Natural systems are infinitely valuable. If we were to truly value natural systems the nature would become the basis of our money and our economy. To protect nature then, would not be a luxury, but a necessity.

"weirdo", "you turds"..? yup, sounds like you're real qualified to discuss ethics.. 'specially the moral rightness of domination, exploitation, causing unnecessary suffering, and killing other sentient beings... and sorry to further disturb you, but people are going vegan in their droves these days.. and with every good reason too.

no one is going vegan weirdo. it's not exclusive to morality but i like how you turds keep trying. you can be an ethical omnivore.

"The transnational corporations profit from animal food consumption, as do the big banks, which have made the loans that have built the whole complex and demand a healthy return on their investments. The system spreads relentlessly and globally, and while corporate and bank returns may be healthy, people, animals, and ecosystems throughout the world fall ill and are exploited and destroyed." - Dr. Will Tuttle.
