The benefits of higher education in terms of increased job security, reduced unemployment and higher pay are irrelevant to the question if, as is the case, these factors arise from a cultural and bureaucratic bias in favour of graduates, rather than any increased aptitude demonstrated as a result of higher education. Of course higher education leads to a wage premium when vast swathes of jobs are reserved exclusively for graduates and when universities select the most capable segments of the population.
The best place to learn a job is on the job, taught by the people that do the job, in the environment and with the resources used to do the job, while simultaneously producing a useful product or service. There is not a single study using matched controls that demonstrates the efficacy of higher education. It is not evidence-based. -
All well and good except when these same people then think they want to be part of the political elitist and join the ranks of the EVIL and SEDITIOUS "COMMON PURPOSE".
If you are a student turn away from this evil organisation and also persuade your friends that this organisation is simply a part of the Frankfurt School of Subversion to destroy the UK. Follow David Noakes for more information on the destruction this evil organisation does in the UK with Universtity graduates. -
These piece of horse shit old monkeys would always propagate their idea to spend more money on education by spending your(and your parents) hard earned money on good for nothing schools with obsolete course work . My view is that if you do really want to excel in life, please educate yourself to the max going through online tutorials and getting connected with right people/mentors to get hands on experience. These old monkeys sit on fat paychecks and brainwash young ones to get in debt!
