It's getting boring having to explain this, perhaps this
inability to grasp basic facts is why so many Brexiters voted for this
farce, but to see so many analysts debating the economy in this way with
the same basic oversights suggests that the majority just do not
understand the core economic argument and the potential disaster of the
UK leaving the EU single market.
Brexit hasn't happened yet. The vote to leave and market reaction to
that news was nothing more than that, market reaction. That caused a drop in
Sterling. Nothing much else has changed out of the ordinary, and the UK
is still a member of the EU.
A hard Brexit will result in the end of tariff free trade to a market of 500 million
people that the UK is currently trading with. That means hundreds of
thousands of jobs will be lost and investment going elsewhere and being
replaced with nothing for the forseeable future because the Leave
campaigners had no plans, other than some starry eyed nonsense about
doing trade deals with the rest of the world ...
I'll reiterate this once again. Those jobs won't be lost until the UK
leaves the EU. That's when you can expect the real economic downturn.
When incompetent Cameron and Osborne were telling everyone that they
could be worse off by up to 4k a year, they did the nation a disservice.
The reality of a hard Brexit will be much worse for many.
If you have a 50k annual salary and you lose your job, you will be 50k a
year worse off.
The Remain campaign was a joke but most of the predictions were for the
consequences if the UK left the EU, and not the consequences for the
interim period after voting to leave the EU. These are 2 fundamentally
different scenarios -

Of course the UK is doing better off, £50million a day membership will do that even though they have not officially left yet.
Trouble is it gives a False hope to people, making them think voting works and can change the Control System when it can't,
It looks like George Soros was placing big bets on the UK voting to leave the EU, which means it's all been part of a plan,
after all the Euro is not the end game, the game will continue until it all collapses and a new Digital world currency is in place. -
We're now neck deep in piss, and it looks like we're sinking further. The Brits made the right decision. Our problem will be: they won't ask us, and they won't allow any more to leave. It's gonna be true military invasion if we try to disobey Brussels.

Brexit hasn't improved the UK economy. First of all Brexit hasn't happened yet, and the pound has dropped about 20% and costs of food and petrol have gone up as a result. and companies have frozen hiring and expansion plans while they wait to see what happens. There was a reported 10% increase in balance of trade, but this is due to the sale of chip designer ARM to a Japanese company, not due to exports picking up.
In the G20 trade talks, The Japanese government warned after consulting with Japanese companies that if tariff free access to the EU single market is not obtained, then Japanese companies may move from UK to the EU taking the jobs with them. The US again reiterated that their first priority is to conclude free trade deals with the EU and other big blocs (China, Japan, India) first.

Whether Brexit is a success or a disaster will depend entirely on whether tariff free trade deal which are equivalent to the one which we are losing by leaving the EU can be signed. The EU is the world's largest free trade zone, and one into which more than 50% of our exports go. On top of that, by membership of the EU, we currently get the benefit of preferential tariffs negotiated by the EU for export to the rest of the world including the US, Canada, and the BRICs countries. We will lose those as well when we leave the EU, and would have to negotiate our own deals for those, which is likely to be more difficult due to our small domestic market compared to the EU, US, or China.
As the Chinese curse says - there are interesting times ahead. -
