I'll bet that Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein, Jim Kunstler and many others who are keenly aware of anthropogenic climate change all drive cars, though probably small ones or hybrids. It's the fact that Alex Jones is professed Christian that is the problem. All the Abrahamic religions include the notion that we should "go forth and multiply", have dominion over the earth and all its creatures, etc. Nowhere does it biblically say that it's a sin to use scarce resources or to pollute excessively.

How long do you think it will take before Alex Jones starts to publicly admit that global warming is a reality and that man's burning of fossil fuels is the main cause of it? I say that he's looking for a way to admit it without looking like a fool.

sclerotic literally means overgrown with bone, and when the term is used to describe a system, it means that the system has lost its flexibility. Atherosclerosis means blood vessels that have been coated with plaque and are rendered stiff and inflexible.
