We can stack as much gold and silver as we want but that's not gonna fix the economy. Now, that we know how to protect ourselves from the upcoming financial tsunami, we need to work out a solution to fight the Jewish bankster. We can't keep hiding while the Rothschild screws up the 99% because of some Shmita or whatever shit they believe in.

Well I think he nailed it on the head, our current situation, where were going and some practical ways to prepare that work whatever life throws our way:) Thanks

technology and change is the answer and it will happen as oil becomes scarcer and more costly... water alone can be broken down into hydrogen which is pure energy to burn clean. Martenson is just fear mongering... really.... some things are true that he says but the outcome is being blown out of proportion.

Thanks for having him on Elijah, Chris martenson is one of my favorite commentators. He understands all the issues we're facing, how they fit together and how we can move forward.

Good interview, but I think if and when fossil fuels become too expensive, there certainly will be hardship for awhile, but it won't be the end of the world. If oil gets more expensive than alternative energy, then these alternative sources will suddenly become very profitable. Once that happens, there would be huge amounts of private R&D done to make these alternative fuels more efficient, cheaper to produce and distribute, and more abundant, thereby dramatically bringing down their costs and vastly expanding their supply. This wouldn't happen overnight and it certainly would involve some tough times, but there'd definitely be a rainbow after the storm.

This repugnant shill is fear mongering!

The US has had its own WW going on for decades now, more petrol dollar than oil.

Excellent discussion. Thank you!
"But if you follow this story along carefully, wealth isn't being destroyed. It was always the same amount of wealth: Primary and Secondary is what it is. What's getting destroyed are Perceptions of the Claims on that." -
The e onomy has been unsustainable for years and will continue to be for the foreseeable future
-
So if you make the assumption that there is no way of making an efficient substitute for oil then then the economy cannot grow past a certain point. Good thing that the assumption is complete bogus due to:
1. Hydrogen fuel cells.
2. Electric vehicles.
3. Fuel Air Synthesis.
And the ability of innovation to increase efficiency.
I don't understand how anyone can seriously make the argument that we are going to run out of resources when we live on a 6 billion trillion tonne mountain of resources. -
in other words lets try to solve this problem with the same level of consciousness that caused it. The consciousness that caused the problem is "I need stuff". No, you don't. "I'm going to die". No, you're not. "I have a reason to be afraid". No, you don't. "I need to fix this". No, you don't. "I'm powerless". No, you're not. "I need others to agree with me". No, you don't. "I need more money". No, you don't.
