Nonprofit Facing the Future presents our first foundational student text and teacher's guide: Exploring Global Issues: Social, Economic, and Environmental Interconnections. This text contains 24 solutions-based chapters that social studies and science teachers alike will find engages students like no other resource. With chapters on topics like sustainable design, water, energy, economics, gender, peace and conflict, and many more, Exploring Global Issues will teach your students how to take positive action to solve the most pressing issues of our time. The digital teacher's guide is nearly 1,000 pages in length and provides extensive resources to help teachers use Exploring Global Issues more effectively. Each chapter provides 4-6 activities along with additional resources like videos and readings, in addition to guiding questions, service learning projects, and project-based learning assignments. The teacher's guide also provides chapter assessments in the form of short answer and multiple choice questions, as well as performance-based assessments for each unit. Since 1995 Facing the Future has been a leader in global sustainability education.
