F. Voitolovsky sees no crisis in US-Russian relations

On August 7, U.S. President Barack Obama refused to participate in the G-20 summit in St. Petersburg and meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Head of the department of U.S. foreign and domestic policy of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of the RAS, Fedor Voitolovsky, believes that there is no crisis in US-Russian relations. According to the analyst, the stagnation of the dialogue can be eliminated by resolving issues of concern to both countries. Fedor Voitolovsky believes that the issue of Afghanistan can become the point of contact.
