G20 finance ministers and central bank governors are discussing hot economic issues on Sunday, the second day of the third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Chengdu City of southwest China's Sichuan Province. The issues under discussion include risks and challenges for the global economy, the preferred direction for structural reforms and the promotion of global trade. As the last meeting between the finance ministers and central bankers before the G20 Hangzhou Summit in September, the two-day meeting will approve a set of recommendations for an index system to monitor and evaluate the efforts and progress that G20 members are making in terms of structural reform and challenge response. China, as the host of 2016 G20 Summit, will hold a press conference after the meeting to release its communique.
