So deflation is where gold, silver, wheat, sugar, corn, copper, etc, etc, go UP like crazy? If that is true, then we are definitely seeing deflation. But I thought that was called inflation.

It's so funny when the fund managers come on and give such horrendously bad suggestions (like a QE2) because it's in the interest of their funds. Then you have parties who don't have a direct stake come on and explain why it's a disastrously stupid idea (because it will have no effect other than wasting more taxpayer dollars). Anybody who thinks the solution is stimulus or more debt is as blind an ignorant as a person can be in this day and age. We're 30 years too late for Keynes to be credible
