This month, these issues will include: 1. Where is this capitalist system going?; 2. Monopolies, yet again, and deepening economic inequalities; 3. Alternative, non-capitalist economic structures & opportunities. Our goal: To develop all participants’ understanding and ability to explain current economic events and trends to others. C'mon now, Prof. Wolff. Your German pronunciation is excellent ... but your Germanophobia is all too obvious and deserves no such space in an otherwise excellent talk. Why do your remarks about VW require references to Adolf Hitler? Yes, he was instrumental in the origination of the car itself, but that's quite irrelevant to the recent scandal. The hyper-emphasis on German names was clownish, at best. Keep it clean, professor, try to keep racism out of it, okay?

This guy is so great. Every time I find myself getting sucked back into falling for the establishment propaganda he jars me awake again. Thank you Professor Wolff!!

Great work Professor Wolf!!!!!! I wish you and Noam Chomsky and Chris Hedges would hold a town hall round table that could be broadcast. If people could hear you all and think about it things would get better. If you all debated the powers that be and stuck to the issues it would be truly an event!! I do not think they will ever do it and allow themselves to be exposed.

We are living in a system that the money is the goal not the actual human needs. That shaped out our behavior as a economist or businessman. We both produce and destroy the actual human needs. Our decisions is based on which process is most profitable. The end product of human struggle is, all processes for human-needs, will be carried out by robots. That is actually a good thing. It is an advancement to be closer to the state of need free. If we didn't develop tools and refine them to better forms, we were still living like other life forms in wild.
We need cultural change, after all, money was first existed as most convenient way to exchange our actual needs. We need air, food, water, clothing and about 300 more needs to keep up with advancing societies and we consume them in our everyday life ir-respected to a society economical flow. The question is why so much up and down in a system when there hasn't been a supper volcano or a meteor fall to destroy the infrastructure that possibles to convert resources to usable state. In fact in capitalism, every now and then, we become over productive and create recessions, and wait for population growth to catch up for preventing deflation to enable us to meet our growing over heads as debit.
If we live in resource depleting world, the true solution is not conservation by creating inflation. As a serious problem like this will hit us harder with greater amplitude in future. Population growth is not linear it is exponential.
There is a need for the existence of a system to be based on fulfillment of human-needs not to take advantage of it's existence. -
Sorry Richard, I can't afford the $10 to watch these videos. I'm a
working person who is currently on the brink of homelessness and
destitution, i had to pay my rent with a credit card last month. Sorry :( May I please still watch? I do live near NYC, so if you need any volunteer labour or work I'd be happy to provide. Thank you. -
"She has been taking advice from this..... I don't know what words to use....This very deeply religious crazy person"

Not accurate Mr. Wolff. I love your show and Bernie Sanders but he didn't come out completely clean. after he conceded to Clinton he campaigned for her, which made his supporters nervous. later, he took a p.r job for the Democrats instead of leaving the party that betrayed him. although now he seems more free to speak up

Newsflash - Whether or not I choose to use a device I own, over the internet connection I pay for, to watch this, or any other video, on YouTube, does not, in any way, "honor bound" me to kick you 10 bucks. Are you paying for bandwidth? No. Are you hosting on your own site? no Is it behind a paid firewall? no.
What portion of the $10 would you be "honor bound" to kick back to YouTube for the free platform they provide? Exactly.
Stop begging for donations. -

Thank you Prof. Wolff for the enlightening and salient points made!
You are the voice of the voiceless and there are many of us! -
Thank you for the videos. I have greatly enjoyed them. I am looking forward to more and more. 😄 There seems to be very little of this type of education here in California, or any real education at all anymore for that matter. Thank you for inspiring some realistic critical thinking. GOD bless.

To some extent, Obama did not deliver "hope and change" because the GOP cynically refused to govern the country, choosing instead to block everything Obama proposed, Obamacare only excepted. Their strategy was to frustrate Democratic policies thus preventing change. And their strategy worked! After eight years, voters were frustrated and blamed Obama/Hillary for failure to deliver "hope and change." Now you, RW, blame Obama for failing to deliver change. Please put at least some of the responsibility where it belongs: on the GOP Congressional leadership.

I am truly amazed that you did not mention the Standing Rock Indian encampment at Cannon Ball in North Dakota with over 300 tribes, and supported by activists the likes of Greenpeace

It would be nice to see some more of explanation on many other topics or what other people are saying, kinda like an expert opinion.
One example comes to my mind is Keiser Report, hopefully my spelling is correct. So this guy hosts a show and talks a good amount on economics and there was a time when I enjoyed his show but lately they seems kinda weird how biased they sound so it would be nice to hear from someone like Mr Wolff whether what Keiser says is right or wrong. -

A message to Republican (and other) Electors: When You Cast Your Vote on Monday, December 19, Please Do So in Good Moral Conscience!
Probably written by 'Founding Framer' Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Paper #68 states "Talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity, may alone suffice to elevate a man to the first honors in a single State; but it will require other talents, and a different kind of merit, to establish him in the esteem and confidence of the whole Union, or of so considerable a portion of it as would be necessary to make him a successful candidate for the distinguished office of President of the United States."
And so we, your petitioners, while we concede that he has "talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity", do not consider Donald J. Trump to have any requisite "different kind of merit", nor any redeeming "required talents" which would qualify him to be President of the United States of America. In fact, we find him to be a most unseemly candidate for that august office; one who is both unfit and unready to discharge its duties; so very crucially important to our republic at this time, and for the survival and well-being of our people.
Therefore, and in keeping with the high Moral Principle of government of the people, by the people, and for the people, we, your petitioners, entreat and beseech you, the 2016 United States Electors, to either abstain from voting for Donald J. Trump, or to vote in good conscience for another valid and qualified candidate.
Finally, we wish to thank you in advance for your due consideration, and especially for your patriotic courage.
