전세계 금융시장 패닉 홍콩 전문가 스카이프 연결 Now, Donald Trump's stunning upset is also sending shockwaves to the global markets. Asian stocks closed down sharply, Mexico's currency has tanked and U.S. stocks are poised for a very rough open. We have David Lee, market analyst and Professor of Economics at the University of Hong Kong joining us from Hong Kong. David, give us a brief wrap up of how markets around the world are reacting. Just yesterday, we saw markets heading for the biggest gain in weeks on presumption that Hillary Clinton would win. Worried that a victory by Trump could cause economic and global uncertainty, investors are in full flight from risky assets such as stocks and commodities. In overnight trading, S&P 500 index futures fell 5 percent to hit their so-called limit down levels. South Korea’s central bank and finance ministry also held emergency meetings to discuss the election outcome. Do we expect a long-term impact on the world economy... especially here in Asia? David Lee, Professor of Economics at the University of Hong Kong - thanks for speaking with us tonight. We appreciate it.
