Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
Economics explained with cows. Simple. Funny. The truth is A bunch of bull. :) A fun and simple explanation of the contrast between socialism, Fascism, Capitalism, and Nazism. It is also a link to a site with historic data showing the reason the free market and capitalism always promotes prosperity, liberty, and generosity, while socialism is a slow downward spiral to loss of liberty, prosperity, and personal generosity.

Hmmmmm...

This is too kool!!! B-) The Communist Manifesto talks about the poor lazy worker who is enslaved by the BOURGIOUES. Marx is just founder of Wel-Fare State. "I do not want to work so feed me." If you socialism and communism... Then move to France and enjoy yourself. You can have ALL the wine and cheese you can eat... And pay a 60% taxes to the government.
-
There's not ''government'' in a communist society. Read Marx.
-
Don't get me wrong...capitalism is a good thing (if it is regulated). But the bible is not really the right book to back it up.
-
Yeah right...cows only have offspring in capitalism. The funny thing about this (beside them mixing up all kinds of terms) is that this is made by christians! If we have a look on how the disciples or early christians live we surly don't find out that private property was one of there concerns Christians...even hundred of years after christ where known for sharing everything with there community and give money the don't need to survive to poor people. That don't sounds like capitalism for me.

Last I checked, Jesus didn't have a government to run. He did put large emphasis on giving money for "The Lord's work" but that was all on the individual level. 2nd Cor. 9:7 makes this pretty clear. "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Therefore, to answer your question, no, Jesus probably wasn't in favor of a government that would forcefully takes a man's earnings and redistribute them.

@USMCNIM5 Great. Give me exact scripture and verse where Jesus believes that a government check to be the substitute for a steady-working father. Give me exact scripture and verse where government handouts should provide private charity. Give me exact scripture and verse where bureaucrats in the EPA should come in at will and decide what someone can or cannot do with his farm, home, or business for any reason at anytime. I know you're in favor of all those things. Make your case, genius!!

.....after which, the extra cows I have eat more grass than can be replenished every season - grass that other farmers' cows are also eating - and we have the "tragedy of the commons", after which, the Leftists rise up and call me selfish, greedy, corporatist, and oppressive, right before they attempt to take over the government of my land and make sure that I share my cows with everyone in the land, after which, I refuse to hand over the cows or share my wealth, after which, I get executed.
-
what are you guys talking about there are many things that we have to solve on our own doesn't matter what way is taken
-
@heathen9991 under idealized communism there is no government but that will never happen.
-
@heathen9991 It still does not answer the question, you talk off transision with a goverment that uses force and therfore i dont see how any anarchist could be in favour of that. But when this communism of yours has been gained and theres no police or goverment what will hold it in place. If i would be situated in an are where this no-goverment communism exists, i would´t be a part of it and alot of people wouldnt ither.
-
@heathen9991 Im an anarchist, but im not a communist and i dont see where you can have a system where everybody HAS to share, unless you have someone forcing people to do some (a local goverment)
-
@heathen9991 explain to me how there is no goverment in communism

@WhyMeMoFo By "those who actually do the work" do you mean a bloated government bureaucracy? I fail to see how innovators and industrialists do no work. After all are we not using a website designed by a private, "non-producing" individual who was looking to get rich? We use the product for entertainment and education, the corporation makes money from ad revenue. It's not a zero-sum game here. The government will always try to cut in on the profits of those who try to make money.
-
@WhyMeMoFo Wrong. In capitalism, everyone works for one another. The only nations that have seen unparalleled growth in civil liberties and standards of living for all have been in free market systems.
-
@Milambit23 Fascism is the farthest thing from capitalism.

The dollar's not almighty, but otherwize, I like the video.

@ayaytc Please consult your basic intro-college course ideology booklet, or at the very lease Ball and Dagger's Ideals and Ideologies, by Pearson. Racism+Fascism=Nazism (Ball, Dagger) Abolishment of Private, but not personal, Property = Communism (Communist Manifesto/Engels; Marx). I believe racism is a little more complicated than that, but okay... And Nazism isn't exactly "The original socialism" they didn't practice -actual- socialism. Please don't correct me when you're wrong.
-
You forgot the two best ones: Democrat = You have two cows. Your neighbor has none. You feel guilty for being successful and push for higher taxes so the gov't can provide cows for everyone. Republican = You have two cows. Your neighbor has none. So? About communism and socialism you already got a good explanation from Milambit23.

I think they tried to put capitalism in a good light...
