taking hydrogen from fuels is not going to help anyway.
its doing even worse. -
I would be interested, but there would need to be hydrogen fueling stations where I live in Vegas and I would want a truck like a Tacoma or Tundra. While I am more optimistic of electric cars to take off, but hydrogen fuel cell is more realistic in truck applications (i.e. Chevrolet Colorado ZH2).

Wether hydrogen is viable isn;t determined by the vehicles beïng able alone.
The costs of making hydrogen, and the energy losses everytime energy is beïng converted should be taken into consideration as well.
A powerplant has an efficiency of somewhere between 35 and 40%.
When making hydrogen by means of electrolysis it its turn, has an efficiency of about 50%.
So about one sixth of the pie is left zo far.
Now, we're making electricity in a fuel cell, losing again about halt of the energy.
Unfortunately, even the IC engine is way more efficient than that.
The future of electric cars lies in batteries.
Not in fuel cells. -
The fuel cell is not practical, because the amount of platinum it would require to make enough cars for everyone in the world is far greater than what we have on earth. The internal combustion engine is the only alternative hydrogen vehicle.

i dont understand why you insist its costly to move hydrogen around? to store it? how about fossil fuels? isnt it moved around a lot? doesnt it consume huge amount of energy in the refining process? isnt it the cause of global warming? hydrogen is the other way around. water is available everywhere. renewable sources like solar panels and steam, wind turbines, dams almost is everywhere to produce the electricity for hydrogen extraction and storage process. this is non sense.

yes

Hydrogen is NOT green, and it's energy storage NOT an energy source (we can't mine hydrogen, so we have to make it ourselves). Producing hydrogen by using renewable energy to split water is terribly inefficient, you'd be much better off using the same electricity to charge an electric car battery. And producing hydrogen from natural gas or waste heat simply shifts pollution from your tail pipe, to the hydrogen factory. Might help with smog, but it's not going to save our planet. We should see hydrogen for what it is - a desperate attempt by fossil fuel companies to stay relevant in the electric car future. Fuel cells are also very expensive to make and the platinum coating degrades over time, so hydrogen cars get significantly less efficient as they get older unless you replace them. I kinda feel sorry for Toyota for falling for the "hydrogen is the future" bluff of the american car industry.

put all the renewable energy sources to break the water and earned hydrogen can be used any where in the world as fuel. If hydrogenation of organic matter is possible then it is more easy to produce petroleum at cheaper rates and forever.
-
hydrogen cylinders are safe if made with smart materials which are so smooth that they cannot allow the escape of hydrogen through it.as i see in a video smart material are repelling every liquid on it.
-
Where did you get the 75% figure? Pretty sure that the majority of mass in the universe is dark matter, not hydrogen.
-
You completely leave out Seawater Electrolysis powered by waste heat energy, reduces locomotive emissions by 25%, an energy source which is totally cost justified by Carbon Tax Credits, and remains an orphaned technology patent.
-
What is the fuel price for hydrogen cars?
-
I hope there is a hydrogen station is named michael bay
-
A problem witn the hydrogen gas stations is that they can only handle about 50 cars a day before they need to be restocked with hydrogen.
-
Any car or bike will convert easy
-
The gas runs the car or bike the electricity made by its engine runs the hydro cell its childs play
-
First make the gas then condence it coil and cool. There you go
-
The engine makes the cell work got it just add water
-
Fill your floating ship with hydrogen then burn it in the engine that drives you forwards a hydro cell keeps it full simple
