C'mon Millennials, we have to help you make money. There's money on the table for the taking, you just have to know how to acquire it.

alaska is expensive!!

Here in Texas a 1 bedroom is also 650-700 a month California is double that. The cost of living wasn't factored into this equation. So the difference between California and Texas isn't 100 dollars it's the difference between poverty and just being broke

YOU DUMB ASS MILLENNIALS ARE JUST FIGURING OUT HOW BADLY YOU HAVE BEEN SCREWED.....VOTE TRUMP!

I dropped out of college but have no debt. I'm currently 27 years old and made $83,000 from a day job and $287,000 from investments last year. My wife made $74,000 and she's the same age with a college degree. We eat out a lot and just bought a new car but otherwise save everything.

Median =/= mean, therefore there is no skew. Not all of us are struggling, my friends and I are doing way better than these avg's (2x+) but we all work 50+ hour weeks and have some specialized skill sets (STEM fields).
-
well u can't make $200,000 a year with a liberal arts degree.
-
She broke as fuck! I hope her all the best
-
Awww, Hannah so cute :D
-
Yeah they make 20k a year but you get to live in California or other great cities I made 70k last year and almost 75k this year but miserable where I live lol
-

As a millenial born in October 1992 which experienced an immense amount of harsh realities; I would say don't give up. Your circumstances will get better, but it will get way worse before you can see the light. Don't be so much afraid , do the right thing.

There's a simple solution to this... work in a STEM field

How can you...
Get a well-paying job straight out of high school?
Learn a marketable skill?
Earn an education without going into debt?
Be placed solidly in the middle class in just a few years?
Build character and strength?
Learn leadership/management skills?
Be able to comfortably support yourself and your family?
Join the military. One enlistment can set you up for life. -
it does suck in California, I'm still in csun but even a full time job doesn't help unless you got a room mate
-
soo on a side note there are litterally 500 people who control 90% of the worlds wealth... the other 10% is distributed too the 7,000,000,000... people in the world to fight over...
anyways i just wanted to point out that if the both of you watch the same "reality" "show" on "tv" then you are both stuck in the same "meta" ;) that is all -
Lol. It's cheap to live in Missouri because it sucks here.

This video is truly depressing. The conditions aren't that much better here in Canada. Graduated 3 years ago, came out of college making 40K as an investment banker. I know I worked hard and somewhere along the lines I also got lucky. A good majority of my friends didn't land their first jobs till a few years after. Some actually just got married and I guess gave up on finding work. With a lot of support from my managers, I was about to get promoted 3 times in 3 years, currently making 65K without our semi-annual bonuses. Although my job is stressful and I wish I could be doing something else, I know there are people who are much worse or better off than me. Good luck to anyone who's looking for work, it usually does get better. And if it doesn't, move to Canada. We have lots of snow, polar bears, beavers and we live in igloos :D
