1. I am a progressive but I don't understand why they would compare legal immigrants with illegal or undocumented ones. I am a PhD student at a top university but I have to struggle to get a work visa after my PhD. It is wrong to compare blue collar workers with white collars and even white collars with scientists. The illegal immigrants are not the one creating companies. Whether it be Google founder Sergey Brin or current CEO Pichai, all were legal immigrants. Same with MIcrosoft or Adobe CEOs both Indian Americans.

   The problem with immigration is that it can bring in cultural/political elements that are opposed to the very foundation that society is built on. This is why there must be conditions for immigration. That you accept the enlightenment ideals that make Western nations what they are.

11. I've put dozens of hours studying the Syrian refugee migration from a labor economics standpoint. It's very fascinating and this video is correct in addressing the argument against immigration (the one immigrant takes one American job). The opposing extreme argument is that immigrants to jobs Americans don't want because wages are too low.
    
    That said, several studies have found that an influx of migrants has no real effect on receiving employment or wages. This might contradict basic notions of supply and demand but, in fact, there are alternative theories to why this happens.
    
    One is that the immigrants simply disperse the natives and an equilibrium is quickly achieved. However, another is that companies looking to invest in a region must decide if they can find enough workers to fill their numbers. In regions of high employment, companies may not invest in factories. If an influx of immigrants is recorded, though, they might invest and allocate half the jobs to natives.

    First of all In Europe we have numerous poor countries that ALREADy fill in the jobs left vacant in richer countries.
    Second, 99% (look it up) of all terrorist attacks are done by MUSLIMS. Also the Islamic state has said that they have sent undercover terrorists (dressed as refugees) to europe.
    
    I am not against immigrants (or a certain race) i just dont want people that have a higher risk to be a terrorist (or support it) in my country.
    I can go on but i dont feel the need to because i made my point clear.
20. Open immigration is fine by me as long as the Government doesn't rob me to pay for them.
