IMF cuts Korea's 2016 growth outlook to 2.7%

IMF, 한국 경제성장률 올해 2.7% 하향조정 The International Monetary Fund has cut Korea's growth outlook for this year to... 2-point-7 percent,... that's down by two-tenths of a percentage point from its January projection. In its latest growth projection for the global economy, the I-M-F said that slowing demand in China will continue to take a toll on the Korean economy. For next year,... it expects Korea to grow 2-point-9 percent,... also a cut from an earlier forecast of 3-point-2 percent. As for the world economy, the IMF says... recovery momentum has weakened due to increasing financial volatility... and falling commodity prices. It predicts the global economy to expand 3-point-2 percent this year,... down from its previous projection of 3-point-4 percent.
