The International Monetary Fund has lowered its forecast for global economic growth of this year and the next, citing escalation of volatility on global capital markets for its readjustment. For Malaysia, compared to an estimated real Gross Domestic Product growth of 4.8% in 2015, the IMF expects 4.4% to be registered this year, and 4.8% in 2017.
