myth, many parts of India suffer high fatality rates every summer yet possesses no will or ability to provide air conditioning.
Most of the country has incredibly poor energy infrastructure thus supply & its agricultural systems are ready to collapse due to its inability to provide water to a large % of its rural populations & in some city areas too.
I doubt India is set to become thr next boom economy, more the next in line to be exploited as a centre for cheap labour to provide disposable goods.
With Western economies failing its likely markets in Asia will need to grow to enable anything like a balloon pop let alone a boom. -

I keep hearing India's economy keep growing. But nothing changes in India. China's economy is growing but China is modernizing its infrastructure Bridges roads and quality of life. India's economy may be growing but it's not showing when you walk the streets of India .As a NRI when I visited india it look like the wild wild West from hundred years ago where there are no laws everybody does whatever the hell they want to do there's dirt and dust and garbage everywhere and lack of system no matter what you trying to do. I grew up in India and finished high school there but came to us and went back after 20 years. And when I stepped off the plane I wanted to come right back because the scenes were terrifying and traumatic. the only way India can be a superpower is if all the Civilized countries evaporated. I don't see any hope for India to be a civilised country no matter how much the economy grows

Best wishes to Indian bro. It is a great window of opportunity for India. But Indian citizens need to unite to fight the imminent threat of the lost generation. Every month, more than 1 million young Indians enter into working age. But only 41% enter into the formal economy. The 59% stay in agriculture, informal sector or unemployed. When young people don't have a formal job for long, their future chance of economic success will be slim. With the high numbers, it is alarming. Hope the Indian government fight against this threat.

The growth is only on paper. Unemployment is at its peak, the prices are at unprecedented high.
There is development only for Huge corporate companies who funded Modi in his campaign, on the ground the common man is struggling to earn bread and butter. -
i am very skeptical about this news !!
-
what's driving them ? the fact they dumped 80% of the bureaucracy years ago opening the roads for better quicker development
