My best wish to India. India has a lot smart people. I personally admire the Indian central banker. But I think India is unable to get to the right economic form by itself or follow the current direction, set by the western geopolitical circle. Why I think so is based on a long period of study on India.
Every year, more than 10 million young people enter Indian economy. 41% got absorbed into the former economy. 59% stayed in informal sector or stayed in the rural villages or unemployed. Indians should know that the agricultural sector offers very low economic reward ...and this doesn't look promising...
India generates 10% electricity compared to China. The auto market size is a bit more than 2 million per year. It stays this size since 2007. China got to this point 2001 and started to take off. Now it is 20 million per year.
India trade deficit in ICT (electronics & computers) is 30 billion USD. If nothing changes - and I don't see any changes coming - it will be 300 billion USD in 10 -
Yes ,Indians maybe be very good at this sort of talking ,debating and forum just as what their predecessors did in the past decades ,But up to now ,the most impressive things what we can see in India still are poverty ,chaos and dirty slums ,of course ,plus the infamous rape capital .The super powerful ,the prosperous and the largest unmatchable democratic country in the world which were bounded to quoted by the so-called Indian experts and their idiot politicians in these occasions just stay at end of the rainbow .
