As my friend Alfalfa used to say, "Applesauce!"
BRIC's don't floast. They sink. -
i think india needs to grow above 10% to become $10 trillion economy by 2030. India needs more foreign investment and all the states must cooperate. Besides this india needs to invest huge amount of money in research and development to craete world class companies. Only good companies can give better revenue and thus can boost india's GDP. we need to build companies like microsoft, google etc in india.

It doesn't matter how fast an Economy grows, it would only be temporary. The next biggest Super Power will be one that Innovates and invests all it's resources into Science & Technology. That Nation will lead the world with it's currency.

In 2008 2009 , Indians said they will overtake China in 2015 and become the largest economy in the world ...Look at India in 2009 and 2015..nothing really grown in these 6 years in India....India should stop lying to themselves...

2034? I think, it will happen by 2025 or earlier. It is already 7.4 trillion (PPP) and increasing with 0.5 trillion per year so 4.5 trillions should take 9 years. But with current government, it could be 6-7 years.
