New Delhi, March 08(ANI): According to a report by Price Waterhouse Coopers there could be a tectonic shift in the global economic centre of gravity. The size of India's economy would grow to 90 per cent of that of the United States by 2050 and China would become even bigger than the world's current largest economy. The report titled 'The World in 2050: Beyond the BRICs', says that long-term prospects for China, India and other E7 economies like Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Indonesia and Turkey are still upbeat, but an additional 13 emerging economies also have the potential to grow faster.

More realistic question is "will India over take UK?" search "will India over take UK?" on youtube to get answer in 40 seconds

u cant generalize a population of 1.25 billion ppl based upon a few interactions. its too diverse to be summed up in a few observations.

Hi rohit, I have a question if you don't mind? I'm not Pakistani, but from online interactions with Indians I have noticed that Indians seem obsessed with the West and western culture. They blindly believe western media /state propaganda on almost every major issue. They fully support aggressive western imperialism, crimes against humanity, state sponsored terrorism, zionist atrocities etc. Is it because they (like many people in the world) have been brainwashed by western media. Why is this?
-
U.S. domination will end by 2030. By 2050 we will witness an entirely different world order. Thank God, western imperialism is going to be defeated NEVER EVER to rise again. They have caused so much mischief, corruption and horrific crimes across the globe, it was about time.

@Chris8282 Commnuist China and muslim arabs have for a long time been buying american debt and faled american business. OPEC countries (Muslims) and China are today in perfect positions to screw the dollar. If forexample OPEC decides to switch to the more stabile Euro as international oil currency in favour of the dollar or if China pulls out their investment from USA, the dollar could be halved in value over night. Hell even France controls over 600 000 jobs in USA.

ha ha ha not true went there india very nasty stink place now go feed your people
-
It won't happen in any our lifetimes.

India and China will def be in the top 3, but the per capita will be still much lower. Brazil's per capita GDP whichis mich higher than that of India and China today, will be closer or even match that of countries like Spain or Italy . The world needs a new industrial revolution to allow India and China to grow!

@ZhangMingXuanIsABabe WHy are you being racist, chink?

@boxerguy1982 ---who said india is not a country????? British had limited or no role to play in the formation of india in 1947.In 1947 most of the 500 kingdoms decided to merge together in accordance with the wishes of the people to form india...had india been a forced union india would have been broken long ago

@rreshmi1 How much "out sourcing" has been done from the USA and UK to India ? Take that away, and the future wouldn't be so bright. Obscene amounts of investment. These companies are starving their own countries of the investment to do so. Also, Pakistan's cover in helping terrorists has been blown, so best to have a word with India. THAT is why he's visiting. Cameron did too

@luckyceltic69 The Vedas by the way, date back to around the time of Stonehenge. No doubt there were holy texts doing the rounds then too around Europe. Some of that just became Zeus, etc All a bit silly and dreary, this. Be proud of your countries history. But like I say, don't get carried away.
-
@luckyceltic69 "Bias opinion" - same applies to you, my friend. Only much more so ! ;-)
-
@luckyceltic69 Bias works both ways, my friend. I am no disliker of India (far from it actually) but a pragmatist. No harm in blowing your own trumpet. But don't get carried away ! EVERY country and religion does this, and regards themselves as better. Lies exaggeration and quietly forgetting the negatives play the biggest part though ! Remember, like China, India has based their manufacturing on either the West's influence and investment or Russia (and old Soviet Union)
