how does the $1.25 a day translate in the day to day living expenses in all of these african countries? in other words, how does that compare to the poor in the usa? how much do they pay for food and housing? i have all sorts of questions that are never answered.

uhhh by the time that happens we wont need oil because there will be renewable energy. if not fusion then definitely viable solar/wind/nuclear. USA is going to be self sufficient in oil very soon buddy boy. yes it is all well and good to just say these developing places will be the future, however reality shows something else. the west is still at the forefront of human development. until that changes, speculation is all it is.

Wow... you are a collosal idiot... Firstly Europe gets most of their oil, food and raw materials from Africa. As soon as AFRICANS develope where will Europe get that Oil and resources? Also, the west is polluting the entire planet while Africans live within their means. As soon as Africa realizes that Capitalism is a failure and start building with their resources instead of exporting them Europe and the USA is doomed. Asia, South America, Africa, and The secular middle east is the future.
