Government spending is fake economics. The government is behaving like a kingdom with peasants and serfs from 500-2000 years ago when you could spend like crazy because the government owned everything. This doesn't work in the free market globalized world with everything connected. Money follows rules now.

A bigger problem is the ramifications of a society that believes cutting off a sharks fins and throwing it back in the ocean is fine as long as they get some soup that enhances their prestige. Or one that will make the rhino extinct because they believe it will enhance their fertility when they are account for one in five of the population already.

China is polluted, overbuild, over leveraged, and essentially fucked up. They're factories have few regulations, to much debt, poor construction of there buildings and infostructure are shoddy.

China is in big trouble for so many reasons. But the biggest problem is their massive government and control.
