The worst part about road safety in China is electric bicycle. They just drive at 30-40mph in normal bicycle lane without stopping for the traffic lights and they almost never look at pedestrian when driving.

Which part of China are we talking about first? Guangzhou by far is considered one of the most dangerous due to numerous pickpocketing and violent robberies with passerbys barely even lifting a hand to help the victim.

The traffic sucks is definitely true but people ignore the red light is exaggerate. No one dares to do that.

Not a mainlander, but things i've experienced when i went there
- Appalling traffic conditions
- Appalling air quality
- Gutter oil scandal
- Rat meat disguised as pork scandal
- Horse meat disguised as pork scandal
- People in the rural areas are more rowdy and loud than city dwellers -
not sure if live there

Has no one pointed out to Chinese authorities that enforcing traffic rules is a great way to generate revenue? Western governments are raking it in through fines.

as a chinese living in australia. china is sure safest place .i can wandering around the street in the midnight no problem,. whereas in here i am concern about my safty in night because of drunk boys or homeless people
