Very interesting , thank you for posting !

I do blame USA analysis for underestimating Japanese strength. The issue is: you ALWAYS go for pecismistic view to fill out the gaps in your knowledge, not the optimistic. This is one of fundamental principles that allies had ignored due to their complacency. Luckily, they had controlled like...entire fucking world. So, despite how lazy and terrible at war they were, they simply were too big of a prey, no matter how efficient the wolf was.

Aren't national charachteristics true? All I can see that those traits manifesting in nation and being true. To deny that one group of people are not inherently different is just delusion. They have different culture thus they are different.

Cant wait for this guy to publish a book.

What game is this? Good plane games can be hard to come by

Wait a minute, so racism is the same thing as racial stereotypes?

Diggin the gameplay in the video. You really should do some coverage of warfare video games. Ones that focus on realism. Likes Hearts of Iron, Red Orchestra 2, Day of Infamy, Wargame Red Dragon, Company of Heroes, World in Conflict etc.

While it would not effect the outcome of the war how much would a better understanding of the Japanese forces effected the early defeats against the British, Dutch and Americans in South East Asia. Essentially I am wondering if better intelligence could have lead to greater preparations and a better defence of European colonial holdings in the region. Send out the Prince of Wales without air cover comes to mind as a potentially a more 'cavalier' action then the Brits may have taken if they new the strength of Japanese air power.

This channel is good. But the references to computer games are... ...interesting....

I think I can draw very similar assessment problem with PLAAF (or PLAF Now) Equipment now , look at the j-20 assessment on its flying test date, I think It was originally guess by the "Highly Intelligent" folk at DOD who has say there will be no flying of the plane until 2020 even with spying on western technology. I think the reality now is that low rate of production will begin next years. I don't know why we pay them such high pay , out of our tax no less. I don't think they even deserve my assistant pay of $45,000 PA. Much less 70k or more.

Thats the first time I have ever heard mediocre pronounced like that :D. At least I assume it is mediocre.
