2. Max is bang on about many things, and seems to be good at looking at the bigger picture. Yet I haven't heard him talk about how capital is propelling inequality by inducing the 'race for competitiveness' i.e. countries aggressively appease the rich in a race to the bottom. (Even green policies are systematically compromised to "lure" business). Is each country merely over-appeasing the rich for comparative advantage, or are they also puppets on the same bourgeois strings, linking up to the same transnational puppet master. A ruling class which has increasingly lost its national character, at the same time as permeating the halls of power with campaign funding and the revolving door. In effect competitiveness is used as a process of appeasement, a bidding war with only one winner; A nationalist veil for the common interests of a global elite, peddled by a mainstream media which usually follows the bourgeois line like a fashion victim or an accomplice. A healthy democracy needs a state with options! They seek to have a pet of a state with a gun to its head, a series of nations caught in a chinese finger trap of appeasement; with free trade agreements tightening the noose as capital moves and writes its ransom notes. Holy shit I'm ranting, but its important! The world is having its hands tied behind its back even as its set on fire. Appeasement = genocide as green policies are increasingly made uncompetitive and inequity festers. There is just a delayed reaction so people don't feel it emotionally. No doubt the ruling class will some how survive for generations longer than everyone else, probably by harnessing the last of the resources to build sheltered communities, using the last of the resources to shelter themselves  LOL

14. Trish House - you are clearly a communist wanting to redistribute land (by force?) that is already taxed to hell and beyond. Hope you are ready to pay the 8k in taxes a year that I pay on the land I paid 60k for that the county now says is worth a half million for tax purposes. There is a ton of land for so cheap per acre but you have to take my land now that I paid for it and fixed it up? Wonder if the land you want to redistribute is in Manhatten? How about you go pay for land and then I redistribute it to more needy people.
    
15. Wow !! I could feel the anger rising within me as Max succinctly described Govt policy. Vindictive, sadistic, and I would add, down right callous. Since I can remember 1979 onwards successive Govt's whether red or blue have done this except with New labour (sellout bastards) they used a smidgeon of KY jelly. However, for the majority it still hurts like hell. Also, the observation that we are only used to ratify their callousness once every 4-5 years was bang on. But, because we are fed a load of horse shit from a compliant BBC and sycophantic media we sit and believe the illusion that we can have jam tomorrow. whilst these Cleptocrats have their jam today, yesterday and tomorrow.
    I don't pretend to know anything about economics. However, instinctively I felt that successive Govt's have been spinning a massive lie. Even through all the bullshit from compliant BBC and media something just never stacked up.
    Thanks to this show lights are beginning to get turned on, cogs are beginning to mesh with other cogs. I know a little more than I did yesterday, thanks to shows like Keiser report, Breaking the set, Sputnik et al.
    I have the crumb of comfort that history teaches us that these Cleptocratic wastrels will get whats coming to them. It's kicking off all over Europe, The Americas, South East Asia, etc. These Moneygrubbing Nipscrats are going to burn in hell!! Rant over.
