The Cluster of Excellence "The Future Ocean" is a network of more than 200 scientists from Kiel University, GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, the Institute for the World Economy Kiel (IfW) and the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design. They have come together to study ocean change, to assess the possibilities and risks and convey the results to the general public.
