Mark likes to point the racist finger at Conservatives. Aren't Liberal Programs racist? Isn't 50 years of Affirmative Action racist? Does Diversity mean that we don't want White Males?
I remember when American was racist. The railroads only employed blacks as porters, the Steel Mills only employed Blacks as Laborers, and the Cities only employed Blacks as Trash Collectors. At least Black had jobs assigned to them, White Males were not assign jobs under Affirmative Action.
Under Diversity, and Affirmative Action, where do the White Males go to work? I started my career in the 70's. I ended up as a truck driver, and after 2 back surgeries, I became an electrician.
Now the Black Civil Rights groups are talking about White Privilege, and Black Reparations. What White Privilege are they talking about there was no White Privilege in Affirmative Action. If you have Black Reparations, the Blacks aren't going to pay for this. Black Reparations are going to have to be paid for by the Whites. I should have saved up all that money I got from having the White Privilege of Affirmative Action.
What about the fact that Whites are going to become a minority because of racist immigration policies. White European only account for 7% of the green cards issued. Now Whites are not suppose to be concerned about this, because the minorities love us. Blacks want Reparations, the Muslims want Sharia Law, along with "no go zones" and Hispanics want the Southwest.
So you think calling us racist will make Trump a flash in the pan. Quit glossing over the racism of the Progressive against White Males. -
The audio is terrible. What is it with the metallic echo and hearing coughing?

WE, the People, need to get rid of the Federal Reserve but first we need to get a sane plan of what to replace the Fed with. Once we have a plan to eliminate the Federal Reserve, we can then move ahead to get rid of the Council On Foreign Relations. People know nothing about what these two institutions do, or how they are responsible for our current state. But who has this kind of banking knowledge enough to draft a comprehensive and sane; workable plan?

Mark sounds like Noam Chomsky, but with an economics degree!

This guy gets paid to brainwash the youth. Is it something better they could be learning. He preaches this like it's history. It's all speculations. Be careful insulting the President of another country, that's how people get into a war. I wonder do he have any idea how to solve the terrorist problem around the world. I won't hold my breath.

The Human race has become very good at manufacturing work. Our tax codes are outrageously complex: need lots of accountants. Our laws are convoluted and idiotic at times: gotta get a bunch of lawyers. You could probably have an argument about most professions where we have created massive overhead that wastes 80% of everyone's time. Imagine if we just stopped doing all that crap. We would work 1/2 a day a week. Then we would spend our efforts solving real problems that are important to us instead of busting ass for some big wig money monger who wants to make the system even more complex so they can hide their money, avoid taxes, screw their employees and make out like a bandit while leaving everyone else wondering what behemoth just ran over their a**.

Rubbish. The vast majority of Brexit voters and Trump voters were not racist. They just saw a very dangerous situation arising. The danger had nothing to do with race and everything to do with ideology. Why can't left wingers like this speaker see that. Perhaps they have not woken up yet.

This guy hits the nail right on the head. The Democratic Party abandoned the Labor Movement decades ago in favor of Wall Street and "free trade".

Yep.

39:45 what does he mean by = "you can fine Apply 13 billion, and in retaliation the Americans will fine Deutche Bank by 14 billion" ?, that part I couldn't really understand lol

Bernie Sanders would have been the genuine left alternative in the USA... but greedy Hillary couldn't take "no" as an answer during the primaries.

He didn't really answer the basic income question properly. Basic income sounds great, but it's the equivalent of going on welfare. You don't participate in anything, you don't do anything, you dont have any structure, you don't get any sense of fulfillment or purpose. Basic incomers couldn't afford higher education in the USA, and they wouldn't need it anyway, so university would be declared obsolete (except for the rich, of course). You'd just watch TV, reproduce and vote. That is not a good thing.

Isn't Kalecki's problem of full employment wage growth not more specifically growth and not profit? Although I don't see why growth would slow because of full employment. However if you don't have growth the only way to raise wages is raise prices and that explains the inflation and that was the 70s stagflation.

im a marxist from rural indiana, very tiny town. we got fucking wiped out by NAFTA and the repeal of Glass Steagall. im def part of that left movement and follow what happens with podemos and Corbyn and other left movements outside the US. i cant stand those anti immigrant lunatics but i can def say that economics plays a part of it and denying that is just wrong. i talk to people that voted trump all the time and they always first say they did for economic reasons (which i find crazy bc his solutions are terrible). they always seem to be outright racist or somewhat racist as well but they are totally ignorant about the lives of POC. we also have been hit so hard by the opiate epidemic. i myself was a hardcore heroin addict for awhile bc i had just given up on things ever getting better. now im back and reading and writing and following the left movements heavily and off of dope but the way this area has been destroyed is just unbelievable. horrible jobs, no money, depression, addiction, jealousy and racism...all mixed together with a hatred of elites and media and all kinds of things. this is a great video.

How does this all work in a global economy? Lol, get out of the global economy. Our Country was never stronger than when we payed our work force, mined our own ore, made our own steel, built our own goods and sold them to ourselves. 1900-1970. Argue with those facts.

The problem is not with Democracy, the problem is that the public has become dumbed down and complacent. We dont watch our government. The government is not afraid of the public anymore, therefore, your vote doesnt matter. If the public doesnt remain engaged, government does what it naturally does: it gets corrupted by the wealthy, then, capitalism does what IT naturally does. If not fitted with a strait jacket, capitalism itself becomes corrupted, then has the potential to consume worlds. Democracy doesnt just appear one day and just hang around forever. The wealthy will always try to steal it from the public. Democracy has to be fought for and protected constantly. Democracy is hard to get, hell to hold onto and when it goes, almost impossible to get back.

Hillary cheated SANDERS Karma chose Trump. Thank you Donald for taking out the garbage.
-
I agree with a lot of his analysis. However his soft characterisation of the SNP and his belligerent synopsis of UKIP are not true. 4 million Brits voted for UKIP, much more than the SNP vote ....

+Adam Ex - "You idiots really need to stop calling everyone racists and bigots. That type of behaviour is responsible for Brexit, Trump, and right wing parties as much as any of the other points you made."
I think there is a bit of false equivalency in your statement, attempting to put name-calling on an equal footing with the economic factors Mr. Blyth presented. I seriously doubt many people thought, 'right, you called me a name I don't like so I think I'll go for a politician you don't like and show you!' However, I would be very interested in any evidence you have for the theory that name-calling played an equal role. Mr. Blyth does an excellent job laying out his evidence accounting for the existence of Trumpism.
On a side note, when racism is present not to call it out is just PC nonsense. Though I would never go out of my way to offend, tiptoeing around the subject and pretending it doesn't exist in no way helps.
