Moms For Moms - Helping Syrian Refugee women & children in Turkey

Moms For Moms is a campaign to raise at least $3,000 to purchase supplies for refugee families living in camps in Turkey. Specifically, the funds will purchase: sanitary pads, diapers, blankets, and socks. The Impact Your project will provide dignity, sanitation, and warmth to refugees who are currently living in very primitive squatter refugee camps. • Blankets can be used as a mat, a coat, a bag...so many possibilities. • Socks can also be used as gloves. • Sanitary pads allow women to continue to work and care for their families (read any literature on this - the impact is huge) • Diapers make a great difference in sanitation. Those of you who have children or babysit children know how often, especially newborns, need to be changed. Then imagine not having diapers. Enough said. You will also be impacting the Turkish economy. They are bearing a huge burden with the influx of people. Your donation will provide a boost to locals because we will be buying local goods.
