New York is a shit hole. It's much better to live in middle America. I will explain why.
1) The noise in the city is fucked up. Very loud place. No peace and quite. Remember back to high school when you were in the hallway between classes and there were hundreds of kids packed in trying to get from A to B? It's like that, but a lot of the time and a lot of places, or if you were in a packed stadium, or if you were at a busy amusement park... Basically like that all over the place.
2) Traffic is shit. You are better off walking if it's less than 10 blocks. Plus you are gonna need to pay parking, and the animals might fuck your car... Actually just go without owning a car, most new yorkers don't own one.
3) The smell... Can't get that many people in an area at the same time without getting a good wiff of some of them.
4) It's expensive to be in New York... Your dollar don't go near as far. For instance I live in a suburb in the midwest now. I pay 700 a month about for my 2 bedroom apartment. A one bedroom apartment in NYC will likely be running you in the neighborhood of 3-4k
5) High crime rates. Lots of crime in new york, it's an urban jungle where crime can get out of hand. You have a good chance of being mugged, raped, pick pocketed or murdered there. If you are a tourist they will target you even more.
6) You can't really see much stars in the sky at night.
7) Many jewyorkers are liberal morons all about that diversity.
8) Homeless... New York has a homeless problem. It can be depressing to see these beggars looking for a handout.
9) Litter is a bit of a problem for NYC. You will come across wrappers, and other refuge on the ground often.
10) The absolute worst part of NYC has to be the people. New Yorker's have a bad attitude that is almost ubiquitous throughout the lot of them. It is a self serving sense of them acting as if they are superior to all others. They walk around with an undue sense of pride, and arrogance that is nauseating, and they are oh so smug. New Yorker's are shallow and pedantic libtards. I know... Not all... but a good lot of them exhibit these characteristics.
In summary I have been to NYC on more than one occasion over the years. In summary if you don't have to be there then do not go there. The only real reason to go to NYC is if you work there as some sort of stock broker that trades derivatives and fucks the economy for everyone while you make a killing. -
