The World Economic Forum holding in Davos has kicked-off and a discussion session was held on Wednesday on 'Africa's Next Billion'. The Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan and the President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote were among the discussants who looked at what actions are needed now to ensure sustainable and inclusive growth in Africa, as the continents population is expected to hit 2 billion by 2050. It is all well and good to tout the benefits of doing business in Nigeria to the audience at Davos, the problem is that as long as security, power, transportation and communication infrastructures are lacking, the number of takers will remain below expectations.
