Nigeria's biggest problem is the Human development Index.....The country is too underdeveloped .....
The problem is not the economy by GDP standards but development....the country lacks basic infrastructure, no technology,no electricity, no clean water supply to homes for cooking and bathing, no garbage or sewage treatment plants, there are no anti-curroption organisations
The economy is good but not healthy because money is not distributed evenly....With a GDP that size and a lacking anti-curroption organisation the curropt and dirty rich will cotinue to get richer while the poor poorer....
What makes a country great is not the GDP or the amount of money that the country makes but how organised and tidy the country is....Nigeria can have a GDP of 50 trillion if it likes but if the country refuses to get organised and fight curroption, the country will turn into a pile of garbage heap..... -

Please behave, it is true that at this time Japan is by far ahead as she is a solid member of the G8, that is because Japan benefitted from the Industrial Revolution that went on for over 100 years. Nigeria as a nation of some 53 years continue to confound the world in both positive (and not so positive) terms.
