It never ceases to fascinate me that people such as Rachel Neuwirth actually think they possess the ability to credibly take on someone with the brilliance and breadth of knowledge that Chomsky has. Such people would last about twelve seconds in a debate with him before running away with their metaphorical tails between their legs, if such persons had the courage, intellect or knowledge to take him on in the first place.

The "Nakba" term was only recently coined by the Arabs blaming the Jews/Israel for their [Arabs] own self inflicted suffering. Google: The self inflicted "Nakba". You might learn something but only if you will not let your clearly Jew hatred eclipse the truth/facts.
-
Advise: Study History, so far you got an F! Google, Israel Historical connection to the land of Israel/Palestine. As the League of Nations recognized so in the 1922 Palestine Mandate document in 1922 and first did so in the 1920 San Remo Peace Conference after the fall of the Ottoman Empire in WWI, who ruled the area of Palestine, today Jordan and Israel, for 400 years.
-
It has never existed as a state with legal borders until 1948, so no, established is absolutely the correct term.
-
Okay, firstly I have no idea at what point the British mandate gained the legal power to establish the state of Israel, but either way it's irrelevant, even if they did, does that legitimize the Nakbah? It's sheer idocy to say documentation legitimises Israel's existence, an absolute fallacy.
-
And please, use the right terms. Israel was re-established in 1948 finally!
-
If there is a nation on this planet who has a legitimate birth certificate it is Israel. Read the 1922 Palestine Mandate Document, valid today and under "sacred" trust. And the loon here is you, Mr. Ownen Jenkins. Profanity will not change the facts!
-
No it hasn't existed for a long time, Israel was founded in 1948, and no it doesn't have a legitimate birth certificate you fucking loon
-
Wait, so you don't believe Palestinians exist?
-
Sorry to tell you this Rachel but if the US did not exist your country, i.e. Israel, I admit that here i make an assumption concerning you allegiance, but I am relatively confident in doing so, would hold the title of the greatest Terrorist Organisation on the planet. I trust you are happy in the company you keep.
-
@Rachel Neuwirth Please seek some help and maybe your doctor will give you a good antidote to what you are currently on!
-
The one living in denial is you, indeed. talking about Freudian projection! Israel exist and have existed for a long time. The Arab Palestinians is nothing more than a movement of those who exude Jew hatred.
-

@triplecheck4 Chomskys work is from declassified papers of governments, memoirs of politicians, public statements by politicians, scientific studies, human rights reports, document leaks, ad nauseum, and all his books are fully referenced. I have checked many facts myself. What are your views based on? Media propaganda? Your pay cheque?
