This is a really good introduction to geopolitics, proxy wars with many rebel groups funded by huge nations behind them and the conflicts and terrorism that they cause. This one overviews the foundations of the modern economy in the petro-dollar and the real reasons why the Iraq and Libyan wars were fought and why the Syrian war is now being fought. Of course the Russians have their own financially based motives as well for intervening, since they supply up to 50% of the oil to Europe and don't want pipelines going through Iraq and Syria to Europe to enable Europe to be independent. So they have their own selfish interests as well. This all connects to Bible prophecies, esp. those that deal with how America will start as a lamb, but eventually turn into a beast. All beasts/empires in history eventually focused their energies on greed of various kinds, instead of the rights of the people, and that same thing is happening now. See these 2 sites for starters: http://www.amazingfacts.org/media-library/study-guide/e/4998/t/the-usa-in-bible-prophecy..aspx http://www.truth-is-life.org/jubileeeconomics.html If America, Russia and others would just do what Nehemiah did in Nehemiah 5, forcing the wealthy to give back land rights to each family and forcing them to return the interest they had immorally charged, nearly all conflicts in the world would stop in a very short period. Preventing war is 60 times cheaper than fighting it according to this study. fcnl.org/issues/ppdc/prevention_60_1_cost_effective.pdf Gene Sharp and his associates amassed hundreds of historical examples of effective nonviolent action against authority and have, as noted previously, laid out a theoretical explanation for the effectiveness of nonviolent resistance...Perhaps the most convincing study to date is that of Chenoweth and Stephan (2011), who assembled a comprehensive data set of 323 violent and nonviolent campaigns between 1900 and 2006. They found that nonviolent campaigns were nearly twice as likely to achieve full or partial success as were violent campaigns and that the advantage for nonviolent campaigns held even when controlling for the authoritarianism of the regime. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/between-the-lines/201403/is-nonviolence-effective See also: Peaceful protest is much more effective than violence for toppling dictators https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2013/11/05/peaceful-protest-is-much-more-effective-than-violence-in-toppling-dictators/ By Max Fisher November 5, 2013 The success of nonviolent civil resistance: Erica Chenoweth at TEDxBoulder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJSehRlU34w http://www.fastcoexist.com/3040831/world-changing-ideas/peaceful-protest-slow-and-steady-is-winning-the-race-to-create-change This study shows that since the US government went secular in the 1950s, it has killed between 20-30 million, mostly in other countries, It goes into some detail on how the numbers are calculated with many references backing them up. www.sott.net/article/273517-Study-US-regime-has-killed-20-30-million-people-since-World-War-Two And it's similar for secular Europe. Noam Chomsky (Author) and Andre Vltchek wrote the book, "On Western Terrorism: From Hiroshima to Drone Warfare". Statistics they have compiled show this: "Between 50 and 55 million people have died around the world as a result of Western colonialism and neo-colonialism since the end of World War II. This relatively short period has arguably seen the greatest number of massacres in human history. Most of them were performed in the name of lofty slogans such as freedom and democracy…Has the world gone mad? Amaryllis Fox, CIA operative, explains the cause of most conflicts. Former Undercover CIA Officer Talks War And Peace https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WEd34oW9BI She says: "If I learned one thing from my time with the CIA, it is this. Everyone believes they are the good guy...If you walk down the street in Iraq or Syria and ask anybody why America dropped bombs, you get, "They were waging war on Islam." You walk in America and you ask why were we attacked on 9/11, and you get, "They hate us because we're free". Those are stories manufactured by a really small number of people on both sides who amass a great deal of power and wealth by convincing the rest of us to keep killing each other...But the truth is that when you talk to the people who are really fighting on the ground on both sides, and ask them why they're there, they answer with hopes for their children, specific policies that they think are cruel or unfair."
