I've tried working in this industry twice but ended up quitting because I can't handle the stress and fatigue. It's not an easy job, which is why I'm always courteous to customer service. You don't know what shit they might have been through before they took your call.

I've noticed the same thing here in the states. I do shift work at a state side call center in Las Vegas and we have the exact same issues. It is extremely difficult to balance work life and home life when you are working during traditional home life hours, and asleep when everyone else is up doing something.
